Grand Story of the West Sterling Spoon Ring

$325.00

One of the most fantastically ornate American west patterns I have ever come across, this pattern left no part of the spoon bare. At the top of the spoon handle, a cowboy sits atop a bucking bronco, the planes and mountains in the distance. Below, a Native American chief is framed in his shield, his bow and arrow peeking from beneath it. The remainder of the handle shows two crossing rifles, overlain with branches to represent peace. On the inside of this pattern, an American flag ripples in the wind.

A very rare pattern indeed, this piece makes a fantastic statement ring that sits wide on the hand, and is best in sizes 9 and larger.

Age: 1890-1920 American West pattern by Watson Co.

Feel of the ring: larger feel, lots of fantastic textueand comfortable on the hand.

This ring is available in sizes: 10 to 24 (photographed in size 10)

*Please let me know what size you would like in the order notes. The spoon rings are not adjustable by hand. I size to your desired size before I ship out.

Metal: Sterling

Oh, If Spoons Could Talk

I love spoon rings. And I love hunting for the most beautiful spoons to make them! Spoon rings are a little wearable piece of history allowing the story to be shared and I love that these ornate beauties get to be enjoyed and not banished to some drawer for decades.

All The rings I make are from the original antique spoons - none are copies or casts. So each ring is not only beautiful in design, but full of indications that it has lived life. Maybe a faded monogram or little wear spots - I enjoy thinking about the places they have been and who might have held them 100 years ago. Each ring is, therefore, truly unique. I have discovered more than one of some of these spoon patterns, so each ring will come with its own character and story, varying slightly on little wear spots and marks - There will not be two that are the same! I put care into the creation of each ring. I put thought into how the ring should best be shaped to frame and display the design of the spoon.

I hope the ring you choose will be a piece you treasure for generations.
