Phoenix Rising Sterling Spoon Ring - Small
The Phoenix will rise from the ashes.
With the rising sun at its back, this Phoenix rises, it’s talons clutching the charred logs within the flames surrounding its rebirth.
What a message.
Truly one of my favorite spoon patterns to find.
This ring is name from the smaller spoon (see the last photo) and has a lighter, non-bulky feel on the hand. See the larger version here.
Age: 1890-1900 Phoenix
Feel of the ring: medium to smaller feel - non spiral spoon ring. Nice and smooth on the inside. Very comfortable. This is the daintier version of this pattern.
Sizing options: 4 to 10
Metal: Sterling
Oh, If Spoons Could Talk
I love spoon rings. And I love hunting for the most beautiful spoons to make them! Spoon rings are a little wearable piece of history allowing the story to be shared and I love that these ornate beauties get to be enjoyed and not banished to some drawer for decades.
All The rings I make are from the original antique spoons - none are copies or casts. So each ring is not only beautiful in design, but full of indications that it has lived life. Maybe a faded monogram or little wear spots - I enjoy thinking about the places they have been and who might have held them 100 years ago. Each ring is, therefore, truly unique. There will not be two that are the same. I put care into the creation of each ring. I put thought into how the ring should best be shaped to frame and display the design of the spoon.
I hope the ring you choose will be a piece you treasure for generations.
