1884 Tiffany & Co. Waves Edge Sterling Spoon Ring

$295.00

Would you like a Tiffany ring? Here is your chance, in a style that you’re not likely to find anywhere else.

This stunning, nautically inspired pattern from Tiffany & Co. is called Wave Edge and is from 1884. I used most of the spoon to make this exquisite ring, overlapping the two shell-like designs which gives the ring a wide design on the top of the hand while still being narrow and comfortable for finger movement on the underside of the ring.
Between the two shell designs, small kelp pearls run the length of the handle framing the Tiffany makers mark perfectly on the outside of the ring.
The ring in the photo is a size 9. Smaller sizes will further overlap the two shells while larger sizes will bring the two shells more on top of one another.

Age: 1884 Wave Edge by Tiffany & Co.

Feel of the ring: medium feel spiral spoon ring - statement ring on top of the hand while narrow underneath allowing comfortable movement under the finger.

Sizing options: 5 to 13 Please tell me the size you would like (type it in the order notes) The rings are not adjustable by hand. I resize them before I ship.

Metal: Sterling

Oh, If Spoons Could Talk

I love spoon rings. And I love hunting for the most beautiful spoons to make them! Spoon rings are a little wearable piece of history allowing the story to be shared and I love that these ornate beauties get to be enjoyed and not banished to some drawer for decades.

All The rings I make are from the original antique spoons - none are copies or casts. So each ring is not only beautiful in design, but full of indications that it has lived life. Maybe a faded monogram or little wear spots - I enjoy thinking about the places they have been and who might have held them 100 years ago. Each ring is, therefore, truly unique. I have discovered more than one of some of these spoon patterns, so each ring will come with its own character and story, varying slightly on little wear spots and marks - There will not be two that are the same! I put care into the creation of each ring. I put thought into how the ring should best be shaped to frame and display the design of the spoon. I will send pictures of your ring sized to the size you would like before I ship so you can see just how it will arrive!

I hope the ring you choose will be a piece you treasure for generations.
