Grand Buffalo Sterling Spoon Ring

$395.00

One of the rarest patterns in the lady Forge collection, this stunning buffalo pattern is full of story. No part of this pattern, inside or outside, is left untouched with detail.

From the base of the handle, a long-barrel shotgun interwoven with a rope sits beneath crossed swords. The fantastically detailed Buffalo stampedes across the plains, mountains in the distant background. The tall grass of the plains and the decorative rope continues on the inside of this pattern.

This pattern makes a wonderful statement ring that sits wide on the hand and has a substantial feel. Best in sizes 10 and larger.

Oh, If Spoons Could Talk

I love spoon rings. And I love hunting for the most beautiful spoons to make them! Spoon rings are a little wearable piece of history allowing the story to be shared and I love that these ornate beauties get to be enjoyed and not banished to some drawer for decades.

All The rings I make are from the original antique spoons - none are copies or casts. So each ring is not only beautiful in design, but full of indications that it has lived life. Maybe a faded monogram or little wear spots - I enjoy thinking about the places they have been and who might have held them 100 years ago. Each ring is, therefore, truly unique. I have discovered more than one of some of these spoon patterns, so each ring will come with its own character and story, varying slightly on little wear spots and marks - There will not be two that are the same! I put care into the creation of each ring. I put thought into how the ring should best be shaped to frame and display the design of the spoon.

I hope the ring you choose will be a piece you treasure for generations.
