Lady Liberty Tiffany & Co. Sterling Spoon Ring
There is something about the craftsmanship and design Tiffany & Co. is known for that stand far out from the crowd. There was no object that they made that was commonplace or mundane. Vast efforts were poured into making every day objects into aesthetic treasures and the fact that the name ‘Tiffany & Co.’ still draws little gasps of awe when it’s spoken bears witness to the company’s repute for excellence and beauty.
I had known there existed sterling spoons made by the famed company but I had never been able to acquire one until recently. It was like discovered buried treasure.
Tiffany & Co. has been a part of New York’s heartbeat for nearly 200 years so it is only fitting that this Tiffany & Co. spoon pays homage to that heritage, emblazoned with Lady Liberty herself.
This spectacular little treasure is a substantial amount of silver. Using the entire handle, I have included all the detail from the spoon including the company’s name marking the inside of the band.
The ring fits smooth and comfortably on the hand.
