Spoon Lore:

One of the rarest pieces in my collection, and the first time I have on this pattern! This gorgeous pattern is quintessential art nouveau with its alluring woman’s profile, crowned in beaded locks and framed in fully bloomed poppy; iconic in its nouveau design.

Unger Bros patterns are highly sought after and have some of the most unique silverware pattern designs. This 1902 Dawn pattern stands at the forefront of that class and is a powerful statement piece.

This sterling spoon ring was made from the Dawn pattern designed by the Unger Bros. Co. in 1902.

How it feels on your hand:

Made from a teaspoon, this pattern sits smooth and wider on the hand with a nice weight to it. Definitely a statement piece

Available in sizes 7.5 to 18. Fourth and half sizes available as well. This pattern was photographed in size 9

*Please let me know what size you would like in the order notes. The spoon rings are not adjustable by hand. I size each ring before I ship out.*

Metal: Sterling

Oh, If Spoons Could Talk

I love spoon rings. And I love hunting for the most beautiful spoons to make them! Spoon rings are a little wearable piece of history allowing the story to be shared and I love that these ornate beauties get to be enjoyed and not banished to some drawer for decades.

All The rings I make are from the original antique spoons - none are copies or casts. So each ring is not only beautiful in design, but full of indications that it has lived life. Maybe a faded monogram or little wear spots - I enjoy thinking about the places they have been and who might have held them 100 years ago. Each ring is, therefore, truly unique. There will not be two that are the same. I put care into the creation of each ring. I put thought into how the ring should best be shaped to frame and display the design of the spoon.

I hope the ring you choose will be a piece you treasure for generations.
