Standing at the ready, rope in hand, the form of this Watson, roper span of the entire length of this unique spoons handle. Made between 1890 and 1905, this piece is highly uncommon and was not made any sets, but for individual commemoration, spoons to be purchased for special occasions.

Not wanting to exclude any detail of the figure, I made one large spoon ring from this piece. It is only available in one size; size 14 and cannot be sized up or down.

Age: 1890-1905 Roper by Watson

Feel of the ring: wider feel, non-spiral spoon ring. Sits relatively wide on the finger, comfortable on the hand.

Sizing options: because of the nature of this pattern, this ring is available in only one size - size 14

Metal: Sterling

Oh, If Spoons Could Talk

I love spoon rings. And I love hunting for the most beautiful spoons to make them! Spoon rings are a little wearable piece of history allowing the story to be shared and I love that these ornate beauties get to be enjoyed and not banished to some drawer, forgotten for decades.

All The rings I make are from the original antique spoons - none are copies or casts. So each ring is not only beautiful in design, but full of indications that it has lived life. Maybe a faded monogram or little wear spots - I enjoy thinking about the places they have been and who might have held them 100 years ago. Each ring is, therefore, truly unique. I have discovered more than one of some of these spoon patterns, so each ring will come with its own character and story, varying slightly on little wear spots and marks - There will not be two that are the same! I put care into the creation of each ring. I put thought into how the ring should best be shaped to frame and display the design of the spoon.

I hope the ring you choose will be a piece you treasure for generations.
